One of my favorite attractions in Branson Missouri is the Ride the Ducks attraction.
In the case of this article a duck is an amphibious vehicle modeled after a WWII vehicle. These vehicles were used in water and land as a way of transporting troops during wartime.
The rides are available in other cities than Branson and I encourage you to visit http://ridetheducks.com in order to find out more.

Here are two pictures from the June 2015 excursion to Branson, Missouri.

The Ride The Ducks tour in Branson takes you on a ride through the scenic Ozarks. You can climb to the top of the mountain riding in a duck. You will also discover the history behind some of America’s unique military vehicles. One of the most exciting parts of this tour in my opinion is when you splashdown and then cruise Table Rock Lake. Drive the duck, if you want.
This ride really does go from land right into the river. The Ducks resemble the WWII DUKW in appearance only. The Ride The Ducks vehicle is built, exclusively for us, from the ground-up using the latest in marine safety.
